    Yes. Rock Canyon is designed to welcome both first-time and experienced adventurers. Our expert guides provide clear, step-by-step instruction and stay with you at every rappel to ensure you feel confident and supported throughout the experience.

  • How physically challenging is the hike and rappelling?

    The route includes a 3.5-mile loop with moderate elevation gain and five or more rappels, including one up to 115 feet. You do not need to be an athlete, but you should be comfortable hiking over uneven terrain and being active for most of the day.

  • Is this a private tour just for my group?

    Yes. Every All Ways Adventure experience is completely private. You will not be grouped with strangers, which means your pace, preferences, and comfort level shape the day.

  • What should we wear and bring?

    Be sure to wear sturdy, comfortable hiking shoes and dress in layers to stay comfortable as the weather changes. Bring along sunscreen, sunglasses, water, snacks, and a camera. We’ll take care of all the technical gear—helmets, harnesses, ropes, and everything else you’ll need for a safe and fun rappelling experience.

  • Will we get wet during this tour of Rock Canyon?

    Rock Canyon can hold knee to waist deep water depending on the season. Our guides will let you know in advance what to expect and help you avoid water if needed, or make it part of the adventure if you are up for the challenge.

  • Is the 32-mile off-road drive included in the experience of Rock Canyon?

    Yes. The off-road journey to the trailhead is part of the adventure. Our guides handle all the driving, so you can enjoy scenic backcountry views and arrive safely at this remote and beautiful canyon.
